                                                If we say the name Volkswagen, we say that it is a one of the most popular car companies in globe. But if you say Volkswagen group it is not just a group of members owning a company, which Volkswagen group owns most of the car companies including the most expensive car production, and most of the cars are made similar which is not completely owned by “Volkswagen groups”. A statistic report says that above 50 percentage of the cars which is under the Volkswagen group’s production control.

Volkswagen groups

Volkswagen group was founded on 28 May 1937 in Berlin, Germany. The first car of the Volkswagen group is Volkswagen BEETLE - "the people's car" it was designed by the engineer Ferdinand Porsche and he is the founder of PORSCHE  this beetle is specially made for the ADOLF HITLER . he wanted this car as an affordable car of an masses. 




when did Volkswagen became Multi-leaded?

                  At present Volkswagen groups holding 12 companies in which 2 out of 12 is they started in the name of Volkswagen and remaining were they bought from 1964 to 2012. 
   
  1. AUDI in 1964.
  2. SEAT in 1986.
  3. SKODA has been a part of the Volkswagen Group since 1991.
  4. BUGATTI AUTOMOBILES in 1998.
  5. BENTLEY has been part of the Volkswagen group since 1998.
  6. LAMBORGHINI is wholly owned by Audi AG (acquired in 1998) and produces a relatively tiny number (3,000) of niche vehicles each year.
  7. SCANIA in 2008.
  8. MAN in 2011.
  9. PORSCHE in 2012.
  10. DUCATI MOTOR HOLDING (Lamborghini) and has been part of the Volkswagen Group since 2012.
